Costumes Notes

Yomiko is one of my favourite characters types: subtle badass. She's a quiet, mousey bibliophile who still manages to kick butt with the best of them. Also, she wore glasses so I didn't have to be blind for this costume, which was a huge bonus.

Most of the costume came out of my closet, or borrowed from friends; I only actually had to make the vest. The vest is fully lined, with two working buttons and a hidden hook&eye clasp because the two buttons alone wouldn't keep that thing closed.

My only regret was that I didn't have time to make the jacket before I drastically changed my hairstyle and had to retire the costume.
